Can lancets be reused?
1.Lancets are single-use medical devices. To prevent cross-contamination, they must not be reused (even by the same person).
How to Collect a Blood Sample?
1.Thoroughly wash and dry your hands.
2.Warm and massage your finger to increase blood circulation.
3.Let your arm hang down to allow blood to flow to the fingertip.
4.Use your thumb to press the base of the finger to be pricked, then use the lancet device to puncture the side of the fingertip.
5.After puncturing, avoid squeezing forcefully, as tissue fluid mixing with the blood sample may cause inaccurate test results.
6.Wipe away the first drop of blood and gently touch the second drop to the test strip's absorption channel.
How to Use the Lancet Device?
Unscrew the pen cap, insert the lancet into the slot, and then replace the cap. Pull the spring of the device to its lowest position, place the tip against your fingertip, and press the release button to obtain a blood sample. If the user has thicker or rougher skin, adjust the device to a deeper setting (a higher number corresponds to a deeper puncture).
